About Thottee

Our journey with Thottee began more than five years ago, shaped by patient exploration and a shared desire to build a purposeful business that genuinely gives back to the earth. We took our time to carefully curate every offering and design our platform, driven by the belief that plants are not mere decorations, but essential living companions that belong in every home.

Thottee is built on the collaboration of two distinct backgrounds: one rooted in the biological sciences, bringing a deep fascination with plant life and natural ecosystems, and the other in clear communication, giving our vision a distinct voice and bringing this community to life. Together, our shared goal is to nurture a meaningful relationship with nature, embracing the timeless principle that human life begins from the soil and eventually returns to it.

In a world filled with plastic and concrete, our core commitment is to champion authentic, traditional terracotta clay pots. In fact, the name "Thottee" is derived from the Telugu word for an earthen clay pot, representing a sustainable vision that breathes naturally, enriches plant roots, and protects the soil. As we continue to expand our collection of healthy plants and natural gardening essentials, we warmly invite you to join our growing journey toward greener homes and a deeper connection with the earth.
